This should be fun! I think I know what the recruiting process should be like, but do I? We are about to find out! I will post recruiting recommendations, ideas, NCAA rules, and what the process for my kid actually looks like!

Hello and thank you for coming over to the Recruiting Dad! I am excited you are here!

A little about me - but not too much :)

I have been a college soccer coach for over twenty years. I felt like this platform would give me a chance to educate, entertain, and help families navigate the really complicated and important recruiting process.
​
We all want what is best for our kids. We want to help them accomplish their goals. Nobody knows that more than me as I wander thru the recruiting world with my daughter who is a 2027 graduate.

Camps? Visits? Phone calls? What do we do, and how do we best do it. I am here to help. I am also here to find out what it is like from a players/parents perspective! Let's do this together. Feel free to ask me questions, if I can help I will!

Lastly, please remember and respect the rules:

Rule #1 – I need to protect my kid and allow her to have her own recruiting process without me messing it up. So for that reason I plan on keeping her and myself anonymous. Please respect that. In the end, this blog may turn into something else, and at that time we can maybe do an unveiling!
Rule #2 – I will never mention names of schools or coaches, or even give a hint about any of that. I will not bad mouth and colleges or coaches. Don’t ask for my opinion on a coach or a school. Again not the point of the blog. Let’s keep this professional.
